Will is a full-time writer for Pickleball.com. Originally from Tallahassee, FL, he graduated from Southern Methodist University in May 2023 with degrees in journalism and Spanish.
Will discovered pickleball on YouTube in 2022 and fell in love with the sport after watching the Atlanta Open men’s singles final between Federico Staksrud and Rafa Hewett. He’s the ‘numbers’ guy on staff, specializing in articles about the more technical side of pickleball and pro competition.
Will hopes to get into pickleball commentary and would love to compete at the pro level if he ever gets good enough. He can be found playing at Cole Park in Dallas after work most days. Away from pickleball, Will enjoys listening to country artists like Aaron Watson and Flatland Cavalry, watching any sport except golf, and playing Texas hold ‘em poker.
